ground beef
1 small
onion, chopped
1 Tbsp
garlic, minced
salt & pepper to taste
2 c
beef broth
1/2 c
heavy cream
1 Tbsp
fresh parsley flakes, chopped

How to Make Easy Beef Au Poivre


  • 1Brown meat with onions & garlic, drain. Add salt & pepper. Add 1/2 cup of broth & rice. Gradually add remaining broth as rice cooks until rice is tender.
  • 2Add cream & parsely flakes. Allow to thicken slightly. Serve over slice of bread.
  • 3Note: you can add additional broth & cream to make more of the sauce if you would like. Just give it time to thicken a little.
