Super easy and definately yummy! Better than any I've had at a restaurant.

prep time
cook time 20 Min
method Stove Top
yield 4 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 4 - ciabatta rolls
  • 4 - slices of swiss cheese, thick sliced
  • 1 box 12 count steak-umms
  • 1 package au jus gravy mix
  • - seasoning salt

How To Make easy and delicious french dip sandwiches

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 365 and bake ciabatta rolls for 8-10 min. Remove from oven and split rolls and put one slice of cheese on each roll and put back into oven until cheese is melted.
  • Step 2
Prepare au jus gravy mix per package directions.
  • Step 3
Meanwhile, coat saute pan with non-stick spray and turn to med/med-hi heat. Place steak-umm in pan, season with seasoning salt (I ask for a side of philly cheese steak seasoning at Penn Station Subs and keep for times like this), and brown. Stack three cooked steak-umms per roll. Serve with au jus on the side. Enjoy!
