Fast & easy. Kids always *love* this =) Can be made in the morning before work, or the night before, so when you get home you just pop it in the oven and eat in about a half hour.

Ingredients

    tomato soup
  • 4 or 5 medium
    potatoes
  • 1 can(s)
    green beans, drained
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 tsp
    parsley
  • 1/2 tsp
    oregano
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 4
    slices of american cheese (optional)
  • ·
    milk (to taste) in mashed potatoes
  • ·
    butter/margarine to taste in potatoes
  • EQUIPMENT

  • 2
    quart casserole dish with lid

How to Make Easiest EVER Shepherd's Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. make mashed potatoes, add a little more milk than usual. Set aside.
  2. brown ground beef. drain well. set aside
  3. in a casserole dish, combine cooked beef, tomato soup, drained green beans, salt, pepper, parsley & oregano. mix well.
  4. cover with mashed potatoes. You can sprinkle on grated cheese or cover with slices of American cheese on top if you like
  5. bake in covered casserole dish, 350 degrees for about half an hour - until the meat mixture in the bottom is bubbly hot
  6. take out of oven & let stand uncovered for about 10 mins before serving
