Ingredients
- 2 pounds round steak, cubed
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 can water
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons caraway seed
- 1 medium onion
- 12 - carrots, quartered
- 6 - potatoes, halved
How To Make dutch casserole

Step 1Melt shortening. Brown meat in casserole. Remove meat Set aside.

Step 2Stir in flour, salt, pepper and seasonings. Add soup, water and worcestershire sauce. Boil for 2 minutes.

Step 3Add caraway seeds and browned meat. Arrange vegetables over meat. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours.
