    1 lb. lean ground beef
  • ·
    1 cup chili sauce
  • ·
    1 egg, slightly beaten
  • ·
    1 cup crushed corn flakes
  • ·
    3 tbsp. seeded and finely chopped green pepper
  • ·
    1 tsp. salt
  • ·
    1/2 tsp. pepper
  • ·
    4 to 6 strips bacon
  • ·

How to Make Dressed Up Hamburger


  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Mix beef, chili sauce, egg, corn flakes, green pepper, salt and pepper; mix well. Shape into 4 individual serving size balls. Wrap 1 slice of bacon around each ball and secure with a toothpick. Flatten bottom slightly and decorate top of each ball with a criss cross of catsup. Place on rack in 8 inch square baking dish. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes
