Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1.5 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 4 teaspoons dill pickle relish
- 4 teaspoons mustard
- - lettuce, shredded
- 6 slices onion
- 6 - hamburger buns
- 6 slices tomato
How To Make double decker burgers

Step 1In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients; mix well.

Step 2Shape into 12 thin patties.

Step 3Broil 4 inches from the heat for 7-8 minutes on each side or until no longer pink.

Step 4In a small bowl, combine cheese, mayonnaise, mustard and relish; mix well.

Step 5Spoon 2 tablespoons of mixture on each burger.

Step 6Return to the broiler just until cheese softens.

Step 7Place lettuce and onion on bottom of buns; top each with two burgers, tomato and top of bun.
