I used to make this often when all the kids were still at home. There was always enough for drop ins. A big green salad on the side was all that was needed .

Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    ground chuck
  • 1 large
    onion chopped
  • 1 large
    bell pepper chopped
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of celery soup
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can(s)
    rotel tomatoes orginal flavor chopped (do not drain)
  • 4 c
    grated mild or sharp cheese
  • 1 large
    bag dorito chips (original flavor)

How to Make Dorito Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown meat in skillet with onions and bell peppers, drain, stir into soups and tomatoes
  2. open bag of chips and crush chips by squeezing bag in hands. Pour 1/2 in 9X13 baking dish.
  3. Pour half of meat/soup mixture over chips then layer with 1/2 of cheese. Repeat all layers using all ingredients and ending with cheese.
  4. Cook 20 min at 350 until cheese bubbles. Serve hot.
