I used to make this often when all the kids were still at home. There was always enough for drop ins. A big green salad on the side was all that was needed .

ground chuck
1 large
onion chopped
1 large
bell pepper chopped
1 can(s)
cream of celery soup
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
1 can(s)
rotel tomatoes orginal flavor chopped (do not drain)
4 c
grated mild or sharp cheese
1 large
bag dorito chips (original flavor)

How to Make Dorito Casserole


  • 1Brown meat in skillet with onions and bell peppers, drain, stir into soups and tomatoes
  • 2open bag of chips and crush chips by squeezing bag in hands. Pour 1/2 in 9X13 baking dish.
  • 3Pour half of meat/soup mixture over chips then layer with 1/2 of cheese. Repeat all layers using all ingredients and ending with cheese.
  • 4Cook 20 min at 350 until cheese bubbles. Serve hot.
