Don's Meat Loaf / KONRIKO special meatloaf

I was vacationing in New Orleans several years ago and stopped at a shop in Jackson Square. They were handing out samples and I must have loved it cuz I emailed them and got the following recipe! I get the Cajun Power Garlic sauce from the Cajun Grocer website:

Ingredients

1 lbground beef (90-10 is recommended)
-
1/2 lbground sausage (mild or your preference)

1 ccrushed corn flakes (i leave these out cuz i don't like the texture. i use crushed soda crackers)

1 capple sauce (do not used flavored apple sauce.... i used cinnemon apple sauce by accident once, don't do that!!!)

4 Tbspcajun power garlic sauce
How to Make Don's Meat Loaf / KONRIKO special meatloaf
- Mix all the ingredients together and pack into a loaf pan.
- Top with the glaze:
1 part garlic sauce to 2 parts apple sauce (or sprinke with 2 tablespoons brown sugar or Steen's Syrup - no idea what that is, must be a southern thing! lol) - Bake for approximately 45 minutes. Five minutes before done, sprinkle 1/2 cup green onion tops on top, then finish baking. (I omit this part, seems too fussy to me.)
- Let sit about 5 minutes before serving. Serve with KONRIKO's Wild Pecan rice (from the same site as the Garlic Sauce).
