I made this a few years back in a hurry one day and now we make this in our regular meal rotation! My son has been cooking and he loves to make this for us!

Ingredients

1 lb
ground beef
1/2 c
bread crumbs, dry
1/2 c
milk, 1%
1 large
egg, lightly beaten
1 pkg
dry onion soup mix
1 can(s)
french onion soup
2 Tbsp
cornstarch
1/2 c
water

How to Make Donna's Quick Salisbury Steak

Step-by-Step

  • 11.In a large mixing bowl combine ground beef then add bread crumbs, milk, egg and package of beefy onion soup then mix all together with your hands. Form beef into 4-5 patties.
  • 22.In a large skillet, Saute` beef patties in a little oil until brown on both sides. Set patties aside.
  • 33.Add French onion Soup to skillet, stir
  • 44.Mix water and corn starch and add to soup in skillet stirring until slightly thickened.
  • 55.Return beef patties to pan and spoon gravy on top. Cover and let finish cooking about 10-15 more minutes.
