donna's pot roast
This simple recipe was given to me by a friend I went to college with. She passed away several years ago from lukemia. Every time I make this, I am reminded of what a great lady she was.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef sirloin roast
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut in wedges
- 1/2 package baby carrots
- 1 small onion, chopped (optional)
- 1 bottle italian salad dressing
How To Make donna's pot roast

Step 1Peel potatoes and cut in wedges. Place in bottom of the crock pot. Place carrots on top of potatoes. Then chopped onion (if using).

Step 2Use a fork and poke several small holes in the roast then place on top of vegetables.

Step 3Pour entire bottle of dressing over roast and vegetables.

Step 4Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours until vegetables are tender and meat pulls apart.
