this is a great meal also when my ground mother makes this she cut up potatoes, green bell peppers and onions to go with it

Ingredients For dilled pot roast

  • 3 lb
    beef pot roast
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 tsp
    dill weed
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    dill weed
  • 1 c
    non-dairy sour cream

How To Make dilled pot roast

  • 1
    sprinkle both sides of meat with salt, pepper and 1 teaspoon dill.

    place in slow cooker. add water and vinegar.
  • 3
    cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours or until tender. remove meat from pot.
  • 4
    turn control to high dissolve flour in small amount of cold water, stir into meat drippings. stir in additional 1 teaspoon dill.
  • 5
    cook on high about 10 minutes or until slightly thick. stir in sour cream, turn off heat. slice meat, serve with sauce.
