denise's meatloaf

I came up with this recipe about 20 years ago, just combining many things that I loved into one meatloaf. Meatloaf is such a comfort food - how can you go wrong? Lots of good flavors, moist, stick-to-your-ribs goodness!

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean hamburger
- 1 pound jimmy dean sausage
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup cream or half -n-half
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
- 1/2 cup diced yellow onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 cup good grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons good dijon mustard
- 3/4 cup pepper jelly
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 3/4 cup italian flavored breadcrumbs or crushed ritz crackers
How To Make denise's meatloaf

Step 1Mix together breadcrumbs, spices and dry ingredients. Separately mix wet ingredients minus meat. Add to dry ingredients. When fully blended, add meat. Using hands, mix gently. Form into loaf on 9x13 dish. Mix together jelly, cumin, and honey. Bake covered in 350 oven for 45 minutes. Spread sauce on top of meatloaf, bake another 30 minutes uncovered. Remove from oven, cool 10 minutes.
