Delicious Taco Casserole

I double the batch when I make it, it goes that fast!
This recipe comes from one of my Named Brand Food Cookbooks
2 cchicken broth
1/4 call purpose flour
1 pkg(1.25 ounces) taco spices & seasonings
1 lblean ground beef
1 csour cream
1 can(s)(7 oz) diced green chiles
1 pkg( 11 oz) corn or tortilla chips
2 c(8 oz) grated monterey jack or cheddar cheese
1 csliced green onions with tops
How to Make Delicious Taco Casserole
- When I make a double batch of this, it works nicely in an aluminum, throw away roaster.
If you make this for a party, I would suggest you double the batch; you won't have any left..Seriously! And naturally you would bake it longer. I baked mine until the cheese is golden brown..
Serve with a dollop of sour cream and salsa.
- I wanted to update this with the chicken version I made tonight.Instead of ground beef, I coarsely ground 1 pound of chicken breasts in my food processor. I also was out of green onions, so I chopped about 1/2 cup of onions and browned in with the chicken...I topped it with red jalapeno slices..So the illustrated pics that you see are for the chicken version...
