- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
- 16 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cottage cheese, creamed
- 1.25 cups carrots, cooked and sliced
- 8 ounces cooked noodles or macaroni
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
How To Make dairy beef casserole

Step 1Brown the ground beef in the butter and add the onions and garlic.

Step 2Stir in the tomato sauce, salt and pepper.

Step 3Combine the sour cream, cheese and carrots.

Step 4Add the combination to the noodles and mix.

Step 5Alternate layers of the meat mixture and the noodle mixture in a 3-quart casserole, beginning and ending with the noodle mixture.

Step 6Top with the cheddar cheese.

Step 7Bake at 350 degrees for at least 45 minutes and serve hot.
