These were always my favorite growing up - so much tastier that the manwich version. Mom mom didn't like the hot sauce - so Dad would tell her he left it out and sneak in one shake of the bottle. Fearing he would forget - us kids would each sneak in a shake while it simmered...made for a spicy BBQ! But we loved it! ... well.. maybe not Mom!

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 bottles chili sauce
- 1/2 bottle sweet barbecue sauce
- 1 dash hot sauce
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
How To Make dad's sloppy joes

Step 1Brown the ground beef with the onion.

Step 2Drain.

Step 3Stir in sauces and cook until bubbling.

Step 4Serve on hamburger rolls or over mashed potatoes. Great reheated and can be frozen for later use. When frozen, place in a slow cooker for heating or back into the frying pan with a few ounces of water.
