You can use any type of meat for this recipe. I prefer the higher fat content due to its ability to hold in finger-lickin' flavors.

prep time 5 Min
cook time 10 Min

yield 4 1/4lbs Patties

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground hamburger (80/20 lean to fat ratio)
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How To Make curry burgers

  • Step 1
Mix together Hamburger, curry powder, garlic, onion powder, and salt. Gently form into 4 quarter pound patties.
  • Step 2
For grilling: Warm grill to medium heat. Place patties on the grill and cook 4-5 minutes on each side, flipping once. Let rest under aluminum foil for 5-10 minutes. Serve immediately.
  • Step 3
For stove top: Warm frying pan or skillet on medium heat till beads of water dance and evaporate when splashed. Place patties in the pan and cook 4-5 minutes on each side, flipping once. Do not touch patties otherwise. Let rest under aluminum foil for 5-10 minutes. Serve immediately.
