Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 package sazón goya
  • 1 can tomato sauce (8 oz)
  • 1 can tomato paste, (6 oz)
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 4 tablespoons pimento stuffed green olives
  • 2 tablespoons raisens
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano

How To Make cuban picadillo

  • Step 1
    Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute the onion, green pepper and garlic until the onion is transluscent.
  • Step 2
    Add the ground beef and brown over medium heat.
  • Step 3
    Add the rest of the ingredients and continue cooking until meat is tender and completely cooked through. About 25 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Serve over white rice with plantains.
