Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • - taco seasoning to taste
  • 16 ounces can refried beans
  • 8 ounces can tomato sauce
  • 2 - 8 oz. cans of cresecent rolls
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1/3 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • - salsa or taco sauce

How To Make crusty taco squares

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Brown meat and onions, drain. Stir in taco seasoning, beans, and tomato sauce. Summer 5 min
  • Step 3
    Unroll dough into 4 long rectangles. Place in un-greased 13x9 baking dish. Press over bottom and 1 inch up the side to form a crust. Brush dough with oil and sprinkle with cornmeal. Soon hot meat mixture over crust and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle with cheese and return to oven until cheese is melted. Cut into squares and top with lettuce and tomato. Serve with taco sauce.
