Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • ·
    taco seasoning to taste
  • 16 oz
    can refried beans
  • 8 oz
    can tomato sauce
  • 2
    8 oz. cans of cresecent rolls
  • 1 Tbsp
    oil
  • 1/3 c
    cornmeal
  • 1 c
    shredded cheese
  • 1 c
    shredded lettuce
  • 1 c
    diced tomatoes
  • ·
    salsa or taco sauce

How to Make Crusty Taco Squares

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Brown meat and onions, drain. Stir in taco seasoning, beans, and tomato sauce. Summer 5 min
  3. Unroll dough into 4 long rectangles. Place in un-greased 13x9 baking dish. Press over bottom and 1 inch up the side to form a crust. Brush dough with oil and sprinkle with cornmeal. Soon hot meat mixture over crust and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle with cheese and return to oven until cheese is melted. Cut into squares and top with lettuce and tomato. Serve with taco sauce.
