Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 1 16oz cans refried beans
- 1 8oz cans tomato paste
- 2 8oz cans pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1/3 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes
- - salsa
- - sour cream
How To Make crusty crescent taco squares

Step 1Brown meat and onion, drain. Stir in taco seasoning mix, beans, and tomato paste. Simmer 5 minutes.

Step 2Unroll dough into 4 rectangles. Place in ungreased 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan, press over bottom and 1 inch up sides to form crust

Step 3Brush dough with oil and sprinkle with cornmeal. Spoon hot meat mixture over crust.

Step 4Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Sprinkle with cheese. Return to oven for 1-2 minutes until cheese melts.

Step 5Cut into squares and add toppings of lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, sour cream etc...
