ground beef
1/2 c
chopped onion
1 pkg
taco seasoning mix
1 16oz can(s)
refried beans
1 8oz can(s)
tomato paste
2 8oz can(s)
pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 Tbsp
oil
1/3 c
cornmeal
1 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
1 c
shredded monterey jack cheese
2 c
shredded lettuce
1 c
chopped tomatoes
salsa
sour cream

How to Make CRUSTY CRESCENT TACO SQUARES

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brown meat and onion, drain. Stir in taco seasoning mix, beans, and tomato paste. Simmer 5 minutes.
  • 2Unroll dough into 4 rectangles. Place in ungreased 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan, press over bottom and 1 inch up sides to form crust
  • 3Brush dough with oil and sprinkle with cornmeal. Spoon hot meat mixture over crust.
  • 4Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Sprinkle with cheese. Return to oven for 1-2 minutes until cheese melts.
  • 5Cut into squares and add toppings of lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, sour cream etc...
