This is another family recipe that I learned from my wonderful Mother-in-Law. She cooked it on the stove by dredging the meat in flour and frying it to brown, then adding water and onions, and then later the veggies. I have adapted it to my crock pot for convenience, nobody knows the difference.

Ingredients

  • 3 lb
    stew meat
  • ·
    water
  • 1 pkg
    lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    gravy master
  • 2
    onions, cut up
  • 6
    carrots, cut up
  • 4 large
    potatoes, cut up
  • 2 c
    frozen green beans

How to Make Crockpot Stew

Step-by-Step

  1. throw everything into the crock pot and cook for several hours.
  2. add green beans about 3 hours before its done.
    total cook time on low about 8 hours
