This is the recipe for steak soup served at Steak and Ale Restaurant. It took a lot of "begging", but my mother finally wore the chef down and he shared it with her. I've served it many times and am always asked for the recipe; I thought it was time to share!

Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 package frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 1 teaspoon accent
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons kitchen bouquet
- 2 1/2 cups water
How To Make crockpot steak soup

Step 1Brown meat, drain, set aside.

Step 2Melt butter in skillet, add the flour, stir to make paste. Slowly add 2 1/2 cups water then kitchen boquet, bring to a boil.

Step 3Put everything in crock pot and cook on low 8 hours.
