This sounds spicy but even my picky kids ate this at a young age. It is super simple & super yummy..great for busy days & the left overs just get better. I also like to add sliced mushrooms. You can also serve it over potatoes, rice, etc.

Ingredients

  • 4-5 pounds beef roast - chuck works great
  • 1 - head of garlic - use at least 6 cloves
  • 1 large onion - sliced - red yellow or white
  • 1 jar 16 oz sliced pepperoncini peppers
  • 1 bottle good beer - optional - may sub beef broth
  • 1 pound sliced provolone or swiss cheese
  • - hoagie rolls -amount depends on need

How To Make crockpot pepperoncini beef

  • Step 1
    Cut slits in roast - add cloves of garlic - you may also just use minced garlic from a jar - rub in skin
  • Step 2
    Place roast in crockpot - pour all ingredients over roast - cook on low for 6-8 hours until falling apart
  • Step 3
    Serve on hoagie rolls with cheese
