Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef sirloin or a roast cut up in 2 inch strips
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 - beef bouillan cubes
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 large green pepper
- 1 - red bell pepper
- 2 cans stewed tomatoes garlic spice style (14.5 oz)
- 5 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
How To Make crockpot pepper steak

Step 1Add oil to skillet and brown beef, sprinkle with garlic powder, then quickly sauté vegetables.

Step 2Mix bouillon with hot water, then add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch until dissolved. Pour into slow cooker with meat. Stir in stewed tomatoes, soy sauce, and sugar. Set veggies aside in refrigerator for a few hours.

Step 3Cover and cook on low 5 hours, add vegetables at hour 3 and take a few tablespoons of sauce out of crockpot, put into a bowl and mix with remaining 1 tbs. of cornstarch. Add back to crockpot and stir. This will thicken the dish up. Serve over rice.
