This is my go-to meal when I am craving the flavors of lasagna, but am just not in the mood to fuss over it. Kids will love this since it is especially easy for them to help assemble. Not to mention, the kitchen smells heavenly while it's cooking!

Ingredients

  • 8 - lasagna noodles, uncooked, broken up
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 3/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 can whole tomatos, with juice, broken up
  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese, small curd
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make crockpot lasagna

  • Step 1
    Brown ground beef in skillet, drain and set aside. Break lasagna noodles into bite-size pieces. Chop canned tomatos.
  • Step 2
    In a 3 1/2 qt. crock pot add noodles, browned beef and remaining ingredients. Stir well.
  • Step 3
    Cook on low for 7 to 9 hours or on high for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours. Perfect for company!
