Ingredients
- 3 cups onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups green bell pepper, coarsely chopped (or your choice pepper)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 pounds beef stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1 can 6-oz. can tomato paste
- 4 teaspoons hungarian paprika or or regular paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups hot cooked egg noodles
- 1/2 cup sour cream
How To Make crockpot hungarian goulash

Step 1In a 3 1/2 or 4 quart slow cooker, combine onion, green bell pepper and garlic. Top with meat. In a small bowl combine tomato paste, 1/2 cup water, paprika, 1/4 tsp salt, and pepper. Pour over meat.

Step 2Cover and cook on low heat setting for 10-12 hours or on high heat setting for 5-6 hours.

Step 3Serve over hot cooked noodles. Pass sour cream.
