Ingredients
- 2 pounds flank steak, cut in half
- 1 small can of green chiles
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, extra virgin (or regular, whatever you have on-hand)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
How To Make crockpot flank steak

Step 1In a frying pan, brown off your flank steak on both sides in the oil.

Step 2Add all ingredients into the crockpot.

Step 3Cook on low for 4 hours if you prefer it sliced, or 5 hours if you prefer it shredded. I served this with mashed potatoes and broccoli, and it was a huge hit!
