Flank steak is inexpensive, and oh so delicious when cooked this way. Best thing about this recipe - it uses ingredients you most likely already have around the house.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

2 lb
flank steak, cut in half
1 small
can of green chiles
1 large
onion, sliced
1/4 tsp
black pepper
1/2 tsp
brown sugar
1 tsp
chili powder
1/4 tsp
cumin
1/2 c
water
1 Tbsp
olive oil, extra virgin (or regular, whatever you have on-hand)
2 clove
garlic, minced

Step-By-Step

1In a frying pan, brown off your flank steak on both sides in the oil.
2Add all ingredients into the crockpot.
3Cook on low for 4 hours if you prefer it sliced, or 5 hours if you prefer it shredded. I served this with mashed potatoes and broccoli, and it was a huge hit!
