This is not really the "prettiest" dish I have ever made. But it does taste like enchiladas. the Doritos soften to tortilla consistency and it is filling. Teens would love it.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 medium
    onion- chopped
  • 1 small
    can chopped chilies, drained
  • 1 can(s)
    cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of celery soup, undiluted
  • 1 can(s)
    golden cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 small
    16 oz can of mild enchilada sauce
  • 1 large
    size bag of doritos, (i used cheese flavored)

How to Make crockpot enchiladas

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large frying pan mix chopped onions and hamburger together and fry until onions are tender and meat is no longer pink.drain off grease.
  2. place all ingredients in crock pot except for Doritos Chips. and stir to blend.
    cover and cook on low heat 4 -5 hours.
    during the last 15 minutes of cooking time pour the entire bag of Doritos in and give a quick stir cover for 15 minutes, giving Doritos a chance to soften.
