Ingredients
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- teaspoon pepper
- 4 pounds sirloin tips cut into 1 inch slices
- 1/2 cup shallots, chopped
- 1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
- 1 can beef broth
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons tomato paste
- 1/4 cup dry red wine
- 3 tablespoons flour
- - mixed vegetables
How To Make crockpot beef with mushrooms

Step 1Combine 1/2 cup flour with the salt and pepper and toss with beef cubes to coat thoroughly.

Step 2Place in crockpot.

Step 3Add shallots and mushrooms. Combine beef broth, worcestershire sauce and tomato paste.

Step 4Pour over beef and vegetables; stir well.

Step 5Cover and cook on low for 8 to 12 hours or on high for 4 to 6 hours.

Step 6One hour before serving, turn to high setting.

Step 7Make a smooth paste of red wine and 3 tablespoons flour; stir into crockpot, mixing well.

Step 8Cover and cook until thickened.

Step 9Serve over hot buttered noodles.
