sirloin tips cut into 1 inch slices
1/2 c
shallots, chopped
1/2 lb
mushrooms, sliced
1 can(s)
beef broth
1 tsp
worcestershire sauce
2 tsp
tomato paste
1/4 c
dry red wine
3 Tbsp
flour
mixed vegetables

How to Make Crockpot Beef with Mushrooms

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine 1/2 cup flour with the salt and pepper and toss with beef cubes to coat thoroughly.
  • 2Place in crockpot.
  • 3Add shallots and mushrooms. Combine beef broth, worcestershire sauce and tomato paste.
  • 4Pour over beef and vegetables; stir well.
  • 5Cover and cook on low for 8 to 12 hours or on high for 4 to 6 hours.
  • 6One hour before serving, turn to high setting.
  • 7Make a smooth paste of red wine and 3 tablespoons flour; stir into crockpot, mixing well.
  • 8Cover and cook until thickened.
  • 9Serve over hot buttered noodles.
