1In a large skillet, measure olive oil and heat on medium heat until hot. Add onion and beef. Cook until beef is well browned. Add 2 Tbs. Montreal steak seasoning and worchestershire sauce and lower heat. Cook for 5 minutes.
Place in crockpot. Add all vegetables and beef broth. Salt to taste. Cook on medium 4-5 hrs. then turn on warm. Mix gravy mix to directions on back of envelope and add to stew. Cook for 30 minutes.
