Ingredients
- 1-1 1/2 pounds stew beef
- 2 - carrots, chopped
- 2 - celery stalks, cut up into bite-sized pieces
- 2 pounds potatoes, new red, washed and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
- 1 package beef gravy mix
- 1 package 10 oz. frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 - medium size onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons evoo
- 2 tablespoons montreal steak seasoning
- 1 quart beef broth
How To Make crockpot beef stew

Step 1In a large skillet, measure olive oil and heat on medium heat until hot. Add onion and beef. Cook until beef is well browned. Add 2 Tbs. Montreal steak seasoning and worchestershire sauce and lower heat. Cook for 5 minutes. Place in crockpot. Add all vegetables and beef broth. Salt to taste. Cook on medium 4-5 hrs. then turn on warm. Mix gravy mix to directions on back of envelope and add to stew. Cook for 30 minutes.
