Crockpot Beef Stew
Fresh potatoes and carrots can be used in place of the canned/bagged veggies I use.
1envelope mccormick beef stew seasoning mix
2 lbstew meat, cut into small pieces
2 can(s)brown gravy, 18 oz.
2 jar(s)green giant whole mushrooms
1 lbbaby carrots
3-4 can(s)new potatoes
1large onion, cut into large chunks
How to Make Crockpot Beef Stew
- In medium skillet, over medium-high heat, brown stew meat. I sprinkle a little of the seasoning mix onto the meat, just enough to cover ina light layer. Save the rest of the seasoning for later. Drain.
In a 5 or 6-quart crockpot, combine remaining ingredients. Add stew meat and stir ingredients together. Cover. Cook on low setting for 8-10 hours, or until meat and veggies are tender. Stir occasionally.
