Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 - potatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup light cream
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

How To Make crockpot beef and potatoes

  • Step 1
    In large skillet or crock-pot with browning unit, brown beef; break up large chunks with fork.
  • Step 2
    Pour off excess fat.
  • Step 3
    In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, onion and undiluted soup.
  • Step 4
    Peel and slice potatoes.
  • Step 5
    In crock pot arrange alternate layers of potatoes and meat, with potatoes on bottom.
  • Step 6
    Pour soup mixture over.
  • Step 7
    Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
  • Step 8
    Turn control to high.
  • Step 9
    Pour cream over all; cover and cook on high for 15 to 20 minutes.
