Delicious beef and broccoli. I don't even need the rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless beef chuck roast sliced into thin strips
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup saki
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cooked sauce from crockpot
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets blanched in boiling water
  • - hot cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro chopped

How To Make crockpot beef and broccoli

  • Step 1
    Place beef in crockpot. In small bowl mix beef broth, saki, soy sauce, brown sugar, oil and garlic. Pour over beef. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
  • Step 2
    Turn crockpot up to high. Bring to a boil. Stir cornstarch with sauce from pot until well blended. Add to crockpot and stir. Let boil.
  • Step 3
    Blanch the broccoli in boiling water. Drain and add to the crockpot and boil 30 more minutes. Serve over rice Garnish with cilantro
