Ingredients

  • 5.5 pounds pot roast
  • - seasoned salt
  • 7 - potatoes, quartered
  • 7 - carrots, into 2 inch chunks
  • 5 - onions, halved
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3 - beef bouillon cubes

How To Make crockpot basic pot roast

  • Step 1
    Season meat well with seasoned salt.
  • Step 2
    Place 1/2 of vegetables in bottom of removable liner; place meat on top of vegetables; add remaining vegetables.
  • Step 3
    Add crushed bouillon cubes to 3/4 cup water and pour over vegetables and meat in liner.
  • Step 4
    Place liner in base.
  • Step 5
    Cover and cook on auto 9 hours; or low 10-12 hours; or high 6-7 hours.
