Ingredients

CROCK POT TOMATO CURRY STEAK

2 lb
steak -- of your choice, cut into bite size
1 large
onion -- sliced & halved
1 large
green bell pepper -- sliced into strips
2 (8 oz) can(s)
mushrooms -- drain juices
3
stalks of celery -- cut into slices
1 (15 oz) can(s)
beef broth

TOMATO CURRY SAUCE

1 (15 oz) can(s)
tomato sauce
1/2 c
water
1 small
onion -– diced
1 small
apple -– diced
1/2 clove
garlic -– minced
2 Tbsp
red curry powder
1 Tbsp
chinese five spice
1 tsp
salt
2 Tbsp
butter

How to Make Crock Pot Tomato Curry Steak

Step-by-Step

  • 1Add the meat to the crock pot with 1 cup of Beef Broth and cook for 3 hours by itself.
  • 2Then add all the veggies and mix around.
  • 3Cook for 1 hour and then drain off any excess juice.
  • 4Now we will make the tomato curry sauce.
  • 5After you have made the tomato curry sauce pour over the steak and veggies and stir around well and cook for another 2 hours.

  • 7+TOMATO CURRY SAUCE+
  • 8Pour tomato sauce and water into saucepan.
  • 9Add onion, apple, garlic, butter, Salt, Curry and Five Spice.
  • 10Stir thoroughly every few minutes during the time of cooking/simmering.
  • 11Simmer gently 20 to 25 minutes.
