Ingredients

  • CROCK POT TOMATO CURRY STEAK
  • 2 pounds steak -- of your choice, cut into bite size
  • 1 large onion -- sliced & halved
  • 1 large green bell pepper -- sliced into strips
  • 2 (8 oz) cans mushrooms -- drain juices
  • 3 - stalks of celery -- cut into slices
  • 1 (15 oz) can beef broth
  • TOMATO CURRY SAUCE
  • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 small onion -– diced
  • 1 small apple -– diced
  • 1/2 clove garlic -– minced
  • 2 tablespoons red curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon chinese five spice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter

How To Make crock pot tomato curry steak

  • Step 1
    Add the meat to the crock pot with 1 cup of Beef Broth and cook for 3 hours by itself.
  • Step 2
    Then add all the veggies and mix around.
  • Step 3
    Cook for 1 hour and then drain off any excess juice.
  • Step 4
    Now we will make the tomato curry sauce.
  • Step 5
    After you have made the tomato curry sauce pour over the steak and veggies and stir around well and cook for another 2 hours.

    Pour tomato sauce and water into saucepan.
  • Step 9
    Add onion, apple, garlic, butter, Salt, Curry and Five Spice.
  • Step 10
    Stir thoroughly every few minutes during the time of cooking/simmering.
  • Step 11
    Simmer gently 20 to 25 minutes.
