1Tenderize meat by pounding with mallet. Mix flour, salt, pepper and garlic salt in a shallow bowl or plastic bag. Dredge the steaks in the flour mixture.
2Heat oil in a skillet. Place coated steaks in pan and brown on both sides. Remove from heat.
3Place bell pepper and onion slices in the bottom of the slow cooker. Place steaks on top and pour tomatoes over all. Add a small amount of water or beef broth to skillet to loosen brown bits; pour over steak.
