I was in the mood for something spicy tonight, but didn't really feel like cooking. Crock Pot to the rescue! Hope you enjoy this chili with a hint of chocolate.

How to Make Crock Pot Spicy Chili

Step-by-Step

  1. Use cooking spray to coat inside of cock pot.
  2. In skillet, lightly brown ground beef. Do not over cook, it will finish cooking in crock pot. You are mostly doing this to break up the meat.
  3. Then add ingredients to crock pot in order listed. Cook on high for 1 hour, then stir to thoroughly combine all ingredients.
  4. Continue to cook on high for another 4 hours. Serve with crusty bread or crackers.
  5. NOTE: Can be cooked on low for 6 - 8 hours or done entirely on stovetop.
