I was in the mood for something spicy tonight, but didn't really feel like cooking. Crock Pot to the rescue! Hope you enjoy this chili with a hint of chocolate.

Ingredients
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon allspice, ground
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons cocoa, unsweetened
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons jalapeno pepper, minced
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 can light red kidney beans, 15 oz.
- 1 can dark red kidney beans, 15 oz.
- 1 can corn, 15 oz.
- 1 can diced tomatoes, 28 oz.
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- - salt, to taste

How To Make crock pot spicy chili

Step 1Use cooking spray to coat inside of cock pot.

Step 2In skillet, lightly brown ground beef. Do not over cook, it will finish cooking in crock pot. You are mostly doing this to break up the meat.

Step 3Then add ingredients to crock pot in order listed. Cook on high for 1 hour, then stir to thoroughly combine all ingredients.

Step 4Continue to cook on high for another 4 hours. Serve with crusty bread or crackers.

Step 5NOTE: Can be cooked on low for 6 - 8 hours or done entirely on stovetop.
