This popped up on my wall from a friend's time line on Facebook. I asked her where she got it and she had no idea.. I have no idea where it came from either.

method Slow Cooker Crock Pot
yield depends on how big servings are, but at least 3-4

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic,minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) stewed tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 10 ounces frozen spinach, thawed (you can also use fresh)
  • 16 ounces bow tie pasta, cooked
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (shredded)
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella, shredded

How To Make crock pot bowtie casserole

  • Step 1
    Brown ground beef with onion and garlic.
  • Step 2
    Put in crock-pot and add sauce, tomatoes and seasonings. Cook for 6-7 hours on low.
  • Step 3
    Add the last 4 ingredients during the last 30 minutes of cooking and turn crock-pot to high. Add fresh spinach, pasta, Parmesan and 1 cup of the mozzarella and mix well.
  • Step 4
    Add the last 1/2 cup of mozzarella to melt on the top.
