Ingredients
- 2 pounds stew beef, cubed
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 - bay leaf
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 - chopped onion
- 1 cup beef bouillon
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 6 - sliced carrots
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 4 - potatoes, cut up
- 12 small pearl onions
- 4 cups water
How To Make crock beef stew

Step 1Coat meat with flour and set excess flour aside.

Step 2In skillet, heat oil and brown meat.

Step 3In crockpot, combine beef, worcestershire sauce, bay leaf, onion, bouillon, salt and pepper, sugar and vegetables.

Step 4Pour water over all.

Step 5Cook on low heat 8 to 10 hours.

Step 6Turn to high and thicken with flour.

Step 7Cook for 15 more minutes, then remove bay leaf.
