This is the first Crock Pot recipe I tried, when I got my first one in 1986. I have tweeked it in the years since. My family loves it, and as my family has grown, so has my Crock Pot and recipe.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds cube steak
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 can cream mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1/2 can water, in each can
- 1 tablespoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup flour, seasoned (enough to dredge meat in)
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
How To Make creamy swiss steak

Step 1Season meat with garlic salt and pepper, then dredge in flour. (I like to season flour with garlic powder and season salt).

Step 2Heat oil in skillet on high heat, add meat and brown.

Step 3When meat is browned, add meat and onions to the crock pot in layers.

Step 4Pour soups and water on top.

Step 5Cook on low for 8-10 hours, or on high for4 - 6 hours.

Step 6Serve over rice, and enjoy!
