steaks, your choice of cut
puff pastry sheet, thawed
2 c
heavy cream
3/4 c
onion, diced
3/4 c
bell pepper, diced
4 Tbsp
3 Tbsp
1 tsp
minced garlic
1 tsp
salt( optional)
1 tsp
black pepper(optional)
2 tsp
liquid smoke

1Slice steak into 1 inch chunks, dice onion and bell pepper, mince garlic. In a large skillet melt butter. Add steak, pepper, garlic, onion. Cook until steak is done, I like mine medium so I cooked the pepper and onions for a few minutes before adding the steak and garlic. Remember the steak will continue to cook after cream is added.
2Add 3 tablespoons flour over steak and cook for 2 minutes. Add cream, salt, pepper, and liquid smoke, stir well, simmer and let cream thicken some. ( if it gets to thick just add a little water or milk to thin out some)
3Cut puff pastry to the size you want ( I cut one sheet into 6 pieces)place on baking sheet, cut a couple of small slits into each piece and bake until golden brown.
4Place pastry on plate and ladle steak and cream over
