I love creamy pasta sauces and I really wanted to make a creamy speghetti sauce, so with the help of a little cream cheese this one was a hit at our house.

Ingredients

ground beef

small red onion
6 clove
garlic

green pepper

mushrooms, sliced

15oz can crushed tomatoes
1
8oz can tomato sauce
1/2 c
water
1 Tbsp
italian seasoning
1 tsp
dried oregano
1 tsp
dried basil
2 tsp
garlic powder
2 tsp
onion powder
1 tsp
sugar
1 tsp
all purpose seasoning
4 oz
cream cheese
salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Creamy Speghetti Sauce

Step-by-Step

  • 1Saute ground beef, onion, garlic, green peppers and mushrooms together until meat has browned.
  • 2Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce and water. Add dry ingredients and salt and pepper to taste.
  • 3Simmer on low heat at least 30 minutes.
  • 4Add cream cheese just before serving and allow to melt into sauce.
  • 5Serve over noodle of your choice.
