I love creamy pasta sauces and I really wanted to make a creamy speghetti sauce, so with the help of a little cream cheese this one was a hit at our house.

    ground beef
  • 1
    small red onion
  • 6 clove
  • 1
    green pepper
  • 8
    mushrooms, sliced
  • 1
    15oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1
    8oz can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 Tbsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1 tsp
    dried basil
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    all purpose seasoning
  • 4 oz
    cream cheese
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Creamy Speghetti Sauce


  1. Saute ground beef, onion, garlic, green peppers and mushrooms together until meat has browned.
  2. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce and water. Add dry ingredients and salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Simmer on low heat at least 30 minutes.
  4. Add cream cheese just before serving and allow to melt into sauce.
  5. Serve over noodle of your choice.
