Ingredients For creamy ground beef noodle skillet

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, divided
  • 1 md
    onion, chopped
  • 8 oz
    fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 c
    sour cream, room temperature
  • 1 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    paprika
  • 1/4 tsp
    thyme
  • 1/4 tsp
    rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp
    dried parsley
  • 4 c
    cooked egg noodles
  • fresh parsley, for garnish

How To Make creamy ground beef noodle skillet

    Place the ground beef in a large skillet. Brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain. Add 1 Tbsp butter and add the onions and mushrooms. Cook until mushrooms have given up their moisture and the onions are translucent. Add the garlic; cook 30 seconds.

    Stir in the soup, sour cream, cheese, and milk. Add the lemon juice and all of the spices. Mix well over low heat.

    Add the beef back into the skillet and mix. Stir in the cooked noodles and mix. Finally, add the last Tbsp. butter and stir. Serve garnished with parsley.
