Ingredients

  • 4 - beef cubed steaks
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 can cream of celery soup, undiluted
  • 1 can beef consomme
  • 1 medium onion, peeled and rough chopped
  • 3 - celery stalks, cut in 2" x 1/2" sticks
  • 4 medium waxy potatoes, scrubbed and cut into eighths
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make creamy cubed steak and vegetables

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Brown steaks well in oil in a large skillet. Place in a 9 x 13" glass baking dish sprayed with nonstick spray.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, combine soups and consomme and mix well. Add cut up vegetables and seasonings and stir to combine. Pour over meat in baking dish.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 350 degrees F. for 65-75 mins until cubed steak is tender, celery sticks are beginning to soften, and potatoes are tender. Serve with liquid from dish as gravy.
