beef cubed steaks
1 1/2 Tbsp
vegetable oil
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 can(s)
cream of celery soup, undiluted
1 can(s)
beef consomme
1 medium
onion, peeled and rough chopped
celery stalks, cut in 2" x 1/2" sticks
4 medium
waxy potatoes, scrubbed and cut into eighths
salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Creamy Cubed Steak and Vegetables


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Brown steaks well in oil in a large skillet. Place in a 9 x 13" glass baking dish sprayed with nonstick spray.
  • 2In a large bowl, combine soups and consomme and mix well. Add cut up vegetables and seasonings and stir to combine. Pour over meat in baking dish.
  • 3Bake at 350 degrees F. for 65-75 mins until cubed steak is tender, celery sticks are beginning to soften, and potatoes are tender. Serve with liquid from dish as gravy.
