A quick satisfying meal, sure to please. My Gram used to make this for us. I loved it! Hope you do as well...

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 cups warm milk
  • 8 ounces dried beef, chopped
  • pinch - cayenne pepper

How To Make creamed chipped beef

  • Step 1
    In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour all at once to form a roux. Whisk in milk, a little at a time, increase heat to medium-high, and cook, stirring until thickened. Bring to a boil, stir in cayenne and beef, heat thoroughly. Serve over toast.
