  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 small
  • 1 Tbsp
    jalapeno peppers, chopped

  • 1/4 tsp
    coriander, ground
  • 1/4 tsp
    cumin, ground
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp

    mozzarella, slices
  • 4
  • 4
    tomato, slices
  • ·
  • 1 Tbsp
    taco sauce

How to Make Cowboy Cheeseburgers


  1. Mix the burger ingredients together.
  2. Form into burgers of equal size about 1/4 inch thick without compacting the meat.
  3. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture of spices on both sides of patty.
  4. Grill or broil, 4" from source of heat, for 3 minutes on each sides for medium-rare patties.
  5. Place the mozzarella cheese on center of each patty.
  6. Cook for another minute and until cheese melts.
  7. Serve each patty on a warmed 8" flour tortilla, topped with a tomato slice, cilantro and taco sauce.
