This is fun and easy. I came up with this because my husband wont eat burgers unless they are from the grill and neither of us grill so, here you go!

prep time 10 Min
cook time 20 Min
method Pan Fry
yield 4 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup bbq sauce
  • 8 - kraft american singles cheese slices
  • 8 - hamburger buns
  • - salt and paper
  • - garlic powder

How To Make cowboy burgers

  • Step 1
1 Hour before cooking, mix raw ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and 1/2 cup bbq sauce in a bowl and put back in the refrigerator until ready to cook.
  • Step 2
When ready, brown your ground beef mixture in a pan, drain grease, add the other 1/2 cup bbq sauce.
  • Step 3
Put on a hamburger bun and add cheese slice on top. (Looks like a sloppy joe but tastes like a hamburger.)
  • Step 4
Feel free to top it with your favorite hamburger condiments.
