I have had this recipe for so many years I can't even remember where I got it from, but it is one of our favorites. You can cook as a side dish or just serve it with some bread and have a meal.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 2 c
    ketchup
  • 1/4 c
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1
    bell pepper, chopped
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1 (15) oz
    can pinto beans
  • 2 (15) oz
    cans pork and beans
  • 1 (15) oz
    can great northern beans
  • 1 (15) oz
    can red beans or kidney beans

How to Make Cowboy Beans

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook ground beef, onion and pepper together until done. Drain off excess fat. In large bowl combine meat with all other ingredients and stir until well blended. Pour into slow cooker and cook on low 5-6 hours.
