this is a tried and true recipe from my family. It's easy on the budget and easy to make. This steak will be so tender you can cut it with a fork. Your family will love it!

Ingredients
- 4 medium pieces of cube steak
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 package lipton onion soup mix
- 1 can water
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make country style steak

Step 1Brown Cube steak in a pan. Mix both soups with water. pour half the soup mixture into a crock pot, add browned steak pieces and top with remaining soup mixture. salt and pepper to taste. It may seem a little dry but the cooking will produce more liquid gravy.

Step 2Cook on high for 30 minutes and then reduce head to low. Cook 6 to 8 hours until done. I like to serve this with mashed potatoes and pour the gravy over the potatoes, hope you enjoy it!
