Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
- 1 - onion, diced
- 1 cup thinly sliced celery
- 1 cup carrot, shredded
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 teaspoon herbs of choice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
How To Make country beef loaf

Step 1Combine butter, mushrooms, onion, celery, carrots and water in a medium-size frying pan.

Step 2Heat to boiling, cover and cook 10 minutes or until vegetables are crispy tender.

Step 3Combine ground beef, flour, salt, seasoned salt, fine herbs, soy sauce and cooked vegetable mixture in a large bowl.

Step 4Mix lightly, until well-blended.

Step 5Shape into a rectangular loaf, 8 X 6, in a greased jelly-roll pan.

Step 6Bake in moderate over (350 degrees) for 1 hour, or until crusty-brown.

Step 7Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving, if you wish.
