Ingredients

  • 2 slice
    bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 2 c
    frozen broccoli, corn and red peppers
  • 1 can(s)
    mushroom soup
  • 1 can(s)
    water
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1.5 c
    rice, instant

How to Make Country Beef and Rice

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook bacon in a skillet until crisp.
  2. Remove bacon and set aside.
  3. Brown beef with onion in hot drippings in skillet; drain fat.
  4. Add vegetables, soup, water and garlic powder.
  5. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 1 minute.
  6. Stir in bacon and rice. Cover; remove from heat.
  7. Let stand 5 minutes.
  8. Makes 4 servings.
