Ingredients
- 2 slices bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cups frozen broccoli, corn and red peppers
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 can water
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1.5 cups rice, instant

Step 1Cook bacon in a skillet until crisp.

Step 2Remove bacon and set aside.

Step 3Brown beef with onion in hot drippings in skillet; drain fat.

Step 4Add vegetables, soup, water and garlic powder.

Step 5Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 1 minute.

Step 6Stir in bacon and rice. Cover; remove from heat.

Step 7Let stand 5 minutes.
